The guys already working on the roadster for this year's Speedweek in August. They installed new seatbelts.
Last night was "Margarita Night"- the condensed version, only 10 people. Carl fired up the new "Margarator" - the super margarita blender that holds 1 gallon of margarita and keeps it cold. Me and the boys.
A short video clip from the gathering.

Last weekend was the Grand National Roadster show held at the Fairplex in Pomona. The show moved from Oakland a few years ago and is a huge hit down here. There were nine buildings full of the top hot rods, street rods, race cars and contenders for "America's Most Beautiful Roadster", along with vendor booths and all the top hot rod builders booths.

There were some pretty nice customs, shining like jewelry.
The trunk lining and body trim was a dull lavender/mauve color. I loved it on the yellow car. Carl thought it looked horrible.
They were filming a segment for "Car Crazy" with host Barry McGuire. Interviewing Alex, Bruce Meyer, Pete C. and Billy Gibbons.
